Elevate & Align: An 8-Week Yoga-Hiking Journey
SAT JUN 13, 8:30 - 9:30 AM EDT (SAT JUN 13, 8:30 - 9:30 AM EDT)

Join me for a transformative 8-week series that bridges the gap between the mat and the mountain.

Our journey begins at Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, MA, where we will gather each week at a new trailhead to ground ourselves through a standing yoga flow. By focusing on intentional breathwork and setting a collective focus for the miles ahead, we prepare both mind and body for the climb.

As the series progresses, we will intentionally increase our mileage and stamina, building the strength and confidence needed for our grand finale: a summit hike at Mt. Monadnock State Park in Jaffrey, NH.

Together, we will carry a mindful presence into the forest—traversing ancient old-growth groves, rocky ledges, and hidden meadows. Each session concludes at the trail's end with gentle restorative stretching and a guided reflection, allowing us to integrate the strength and peace found on the trail back into our daily lives.

Why This Progression Works:

  • Weeks 1–7 (Wachusett): We use the diverse trail system of Princeton to build your "mountain legs" and aerobic capacity on familiar, beautiful terrain.

  • Week 8 (Monadnock): We put our 2-month practice to the test on the rugged granite of New Hampshire’s most iconic peak.

Series Details:

  • When: Saturdays in May and June: 5/2, 5/16, 5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27 , Rain Dates TBD

  • Time: Meet 8:30am, Hike starts at 9am

  • Location: 7 weeks at Wachusett Mountain (Princeton, MA) | Final week at Mt. Monadnock (Jaffrey, NH). Directions to trailheads will be provided

  • Focus: Progressive stamina building, standing yoga (no mats required), and mindful exploration.

  • Experience Level: Open to all who are ready to move, though we will be increasing intensity each week!

The Weekly Journey

Wachusett Mountain Week 1-7

  • Week 1 | The Echo-Harrington Forest Loop: The Best of Both Worlds. A gentle lakeside start transitioning into the rugged, mossy boulders of the Harrington Trail. A perfect introduction to balancing technical terrain with ease. 3.5 miles

  • Week 2 | The "High Meadow" Explorer: Perspective & Vision. We’ll climb to the High Meadow for the mountain's most iconic view of the summit, moving through diverse ecosystems that remind us of our own adaptability. 3.5 miles

  • Week 3 | The Nature Lover’s "Quiet" Loop: Deep Connection. An ascent through the secluded Westminster side. This "quiet" hike is designed for deep immersion in old-growth forests and high-elevation stillness. 3 miles

  • Week 4 | The Bolton-Semuhenna "North Notch": Strength & Resilience. A strenuous, technical "lollipop" loop visiting the legendary Balance Rock and the lush northern face. A true test of focus and steady footing. 4.5 miles

  • Week 5 | The Grand Loop: The Full Circuit. A clockwise pilgrimage to all the mountain's major landmarks. We’ll practice maintaining our "inner center" while covering wide-reaching, varied terrain. 4-5 miles

  • Week 6 | The Outer Ring Road Loop: Endurance & Flow. A high-mileage (6.5 mile) journey using wide, rhythmic carriage roads. This week focuses on aerobic flow and steady, manageable inclines without the distraction of rock scrambling.

  • Week 7 | The "Summit Master" Challenge: The Peak Experience. Our highest intensity session. We face the "stairs" of Pine Hill head-on, using our breath to power the climb, followed by a mindful, knee-friendly descent. 2 miles

  • Week 8 | The Monadnock "Scenic-Soft" Finale: The Grand Graduation. We head to New Hampshire for a strenuous ascent over the famous southern ledges of Mt. Monadnock. We celebrate our 8-week journey at the bald summit before a soft, pine-needle descent that honors our bodies' hard work. 4.2 miles

Why Hike and Flow With Me?

I am deeply passionate about the intersection of yoga and the outdoors. While I have experience hiking diverse terrains, I have a long-standing love and specialized familiarity with Wachusett Mountain. I’ve spent years exploring its hidden groves and rocky ledges, and I’ve designed this series to share that "insider" magic with you.

Stepping onto the trail shouldn’t feel intimidating. My goal is to bridge the gap between the mat and the mountain by providing you with more than just a route. To ensure you feel confident and prepared every week, I’ll be sharing my pro-tips on:

  • Gear & Clothing: Choosing the right layers and footwear for New England weather.

  • Fuel: Best practices for trail food and hydration to keep your energy high.

  • The Elements: Practical advice on managing bug season and sun exposure.

Whether you are looking to build stamina or find a deeper sense of presence, I’m here to take the guesswork out of the woods so you can focus on your breath and the climb.

Let’s find our balance on the trail.
